         Dr. Fu-Tong Liu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, has been appointed Director of the Institute for a three-year term, effective July 20, 2010.

        Dr. Yu-Chih Lai has been appointed Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of Modern History, effective July 1, 2010.

        Dr. Chi-Shing Chak has been appointed Adjunct Research Fellow of the Institute of Modern History, effective June 9, 2010.
