　　Dr. Bien Chiang, Associate Research Fellow of the Institute of Ethnology, has been seconded as Associate Professor of the National Taitung University and the director of the Center of Austronesian Culture, effective from August 1, 2016 to July 31, 2018.
　　Dr. Jun-ji Shih, Research Fellow of the Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences, has been seconded as Minister without Portfolio, Executive Yuan and concurrently Governor of Taiwan Province, effective from May 20, 2016 to May 19, 2020.
　　Dr. Yen-Tsung Huang has been appointed Associate Research Fellow of the Institute of Statistical Science, effective from September 1, 2016 to April 30, 2043.
　　Dr. Yun-Ju Chen has been appointed Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of History and Philology, effective from September 1, 2016 to July 31, 2022.
　　Dr. Ying-Chang Chuang has been appointed Adjunct Research Fellow of the Institute of Ethnology, effective from August 1, 2016 to July 31, 2017.
　　Dr. Chi-Hong Wei has been appointed Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of European and American Studies, effective from July 1, 2016 to July 31, 2021.
　　Dr. Kuo-Shiang Tseng has been appointed Research Fellow of the Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences, effective from August 1, 2016 to April 30, 2030.
