Acting Director Shun-Jen Cheng, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics, will go to China for academic affairs from July 7–13, 2014. During his absence, Dr. Ko-Wei Lih will be the acting director.

Director Ming-Daw Tsai, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Biological Chemistry, will go to Hong Kong for academic affairs from July 7-12, 2014.During his absence, Deputy Director Kay-Hooi Khoo will be the acting director.

Director Ting-Kuo Lee, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Physics, will attend an international conference in Mongolia from July 8–13, 2014. During his absence, Deputy Director Henry Tsz-King Wong will be the acting director.
