        Dr. Kong-Pin Chen, Research Fellow of the Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences, has been appointed Director of the Center for a three-year  term, effective July 4, 2011.

        Dr. Kuan Wang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Chemistry, has been appointed Director of the Institute for a three-year term, effective August 1, 2011.
