Dr. Yue-ie Hsing, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Plant and Microbial Biology, has received the 2012 Outstanding Agricultural Research Award from the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan. Dr. Hsing has been working on rice genomics research and its subsequent application, and also collecting, conserving, and studying the wild soybeans and aboriginal crops of Taiwan. She has made tremendous contributions to Taiwan’s agricultural research.
