The electoral voting for Academia Sinica Representatives (ASR) to the “Committee for Improvement of Organization and Operation at Academia Sinica” has already been successfully completed and the results verified. A total of 5,771 eligible voters have been counted for this election. (This includes 1,750 voters in the Division of Mathematics and Physical Sciences, 2,451 voters in the Division of Life Sciences, 1,175 voters in the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences and 395 voters in the Central Office of Administration).
　　The number of actual voters that cast votes amounted to 2,003. (This included 490 voters for the Division of Mathematics and Physical Sciences, 880 voters for the Division of Life Sciences, 525 voters for the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences, and 108 voters for the Central Office of Administration.)  The average voter participation turnout was 34.71 percent.  The election results have been ratified by the President of Academia Sinica. The elected ASR (five in total) and the votes they received are listed below according to number of votes received in each division, from highest to lowest, respectively:
Division of Mathematics and Physical Sciences:
1. Yuh-Lin Wang (Institute of Atomic & Molecular Sciences) 188 votes
Division of Life Sciences:
1. Tang, Tang K. (Institute of Biomedical Sciences) 441 votes
2. Ruey-Hwa Chen (Institute of Biological Chemistry) 310 votes
Division of Humanities and Social Sciences:
1. Ku-ming (Kevin) Chang (Institute of History and Philology) 311 votes
2. Chen Yi-shen (Institute of Institute of Modern History) 243 votes
