        Director Pen-Chung Yew, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Information Science, is going to the United States for academic affairs from October 12-21, 2010. During his absence, Deputy Director Ming-Tat Ko is the acting director.

Director Chin-shing Huang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of History and Philology, will go to China for academic affairs from October 18-27.  During his absence, Deputy Director Fu-shih Lin will be the acting director.
