Candidates must be nominated by members of the Advisory Committee or heads of the individual institutes. Direct applications will NOT be accepted.
The nominated candidate must be a faculty of Academia Sinica (for example a distinguished research fellow, research fellow or associate research fellow) recognized as an independent and qualified investigator.
Please refer to the “instructions for the nominations for the 2011 Academia Sinica Investigator Award” to prepare documents required for the nomination. All documents should be completed in English for the Divisions of Mathematics and Physical Sciences and Life Sciences. For the Division of the Humanities and Social Sciences, documents can be written in a language familiar to experts in the relevant fields. All materials prepared for the nomination must be delivered to the Academic Affairs Office by May 20, 2010.
The letter of recommendation should be sent directly to Ms. Pei-Ling Chen at the Office of Academic Affairs by May 20, 2010.
