The Ceremony of 2013 Academia Sinica Awards for Junior Research Investigators will be held on June 4, 2013
 

  The 2013 award ceremony will be held on June 4, 2013 in the Auditorium 106, New Building, Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica.

  The awards are given in three main categories and this year a total of 145 applications were received 67 in the Mathematics and Physical Sciences Division, 31 in the Life Sciences Division, and 47 in the Humanities and Social Sciences Division. All submissions underwent a stringent review procedure including pre-screening, initial review, 2nd stage review, and final review.

  There are 15 awardees who will receive a certificate and a cash prize of NT$200,000. In addition, they will also receive NT$300,000 for research expenditures. Each awardee will give a three-minute speech during the ceremony.

09:45-10:00    Registration

10:00            Opening ceremony

10:00-10:15    Congratulatory remarks by President Chi-Huey Wong

10:15-10:35    Conferral of awards and photos with President Chi-Huey Wong

10:35-11:30    Brief presentations by award winners

                   (Each awardee will speak for 3 minutes)

11:30 am       End (Tea break)
