Dr. Hsiang-Yin Chen has been appointed as Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of Chinese Literature and Philosophy, Her term is effective dating from August 1, 2007.

Dr. Paul E. Verslues has been appointed as Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of Plant and Microbial Biology, His term is effective dating from September 16, 2007.

Dr. Ching-Fan Chung, Research Fellow of Institute of Economics, has been temporarily transferred to National Tsing Hua University as Professor and Chairman of Department of Quantitative Finance from August 1, 2007 to July 31, 2010.

Dr. Gwo-Shyong Shieh, Research Fellow of Institute of Sociology,  has been temporarily transferred to National Tsing Hua University as Professor and Director of Institute of Sociology from August 1, 2007 to July 31, 2010.
