Director Maw-Kuen Wu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Physics, will attend an academic conference in Beijing, China from October 16 to 20, 2008. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Deputy Directors Chi Keung Chan and Sai-Ping Li.
