Director Benjamin Fong Chao, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Earth Sciences, will go to China for academic affairs from July 15-19, 2012. During his absence, Deputy Director Chang-Hwa Chen will be the acting director.

Director Tao-Shih Hsieh, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Cellular and Organismic Biology, will go to the United States for academic affairs from July 6 to August 20, 2012. During his absence, Deputy Director Han-Chung Wu will be the acting director.

Director Kuan Wang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Chemistry, will go to China for academic affairs from July 10-13, 2012. During his absence, Deputy Director Ito Chao will be the acting director.

Director Yu-Shan Wu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Political Science (Preparatory Office), is going to Spain for academic affairs from July 7-14, 2012. During his absence, Research Fellow Tse-Kang Leng is the acting director.

Director Ko-wu Huang, Research Fellow of the Institute of Modern History, will go to Japan for academic affairs from July 11-16, 2012. During his absence, Deputy Director Peter Zarrow will be the acting director.
