Director Fu-Tong Liu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, is going to the United States for academic affairs from September 13-30, 2012. During his absence, Deputy Director Hsiu-Ming Shih is the acting director.

Director Chung-Hsuan Chen, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Genomics Research Center, is going to Japan for academic affairs September 16-21, 2012. During his absence, Deputy Director An-Suei Yang is the acting director.
