Nostalgia for the Past-A Performance by the Taiwan Youth Dance Company

           The theme of this performance revolves around reflections on history, music, and dance. Fusing diverse musical styles and dance forms, the Taiwan Youth Dance Company takes the audience on a journey through the past filled with reverie.

(The First Half)

Reflections on the Past

        Set against the background of the elegant court scenes of ancient times, graceful dancers in dreamy costumes rivet the attention of the onlookers.

Old Taiwanese Songs

         The old pop songs of Taiwan arouse the audience’s nostalgia for the past. Songs on love and pain, joy and sorrow, and dreams and disappointment revive memories of bygone days.

The Countryside

        Day in and day out, farmers worked hard and lived in good faith.  They did not complain about difficulties but instead tried to overcome all kinds of hardships and lead a happy life.
