Acting Director Shun-Jen Cheng, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics, will attend an international conference in the U.K. from August 30 to September 12, 2014. During his absence, Deputy Director Ching Hung Lam will be the acting director.

Director Lou-Chuang Lee, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Earth Sciences, will attend an international conference in Japan from September 7-10, 2014. During his absence, Deputy Director Chung-Ho Wang will be the acting director.

Director Chiu-yu Tseng, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Linguistics, will attend international conferences in Thailand and Singapore from September 7-19, 2014. During her absence, Deputy Director Chih-Chen Jane Tang will be the acting director.

Director Hsin-Huang Michael Hsiao, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Sociology, will attend an international conference in Japan from September 27-30, 2014. During his absence, Dr. Chyi-I Wu will be the acting director.
