Vice President Chao-Han Liu will attend an international conference in Italy on November 10 through 16, 2007. During his absence his functions will be exercised by the Vice President Ts'ui-Jung Liu.

Vice President Andrew H.-J. Wang will attend an international conference in Italy on November 11 through 16, 2007. During his absence his functions will be exercised by the Vice President Ts'ui-Jung Liu.

Dr. Der-Tsai Lee, Director and Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Information Science, will attend an international conference in Chicago, USA on November 7 through 11, 2007. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Deputy Director Tyng-Ruey Chuang.

Dr. Shu-Min Huang, Director and Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Ethnology, will attend an international conference in Malaysia on November 12 through 16, 2007. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Research Fellow Mei-Rong Lin.
