Feel the Beat – A Percussion Performance at Academia Sinica

Performing Band: Feel the Beat Percussion

Admission: Free

Feel the Beat, a percussion group formed in 2007, is comprised of young students dedicated to percussion music. Although the group is made up of nonprofessional musicians, its players have had years of rigorous training and stage performance experience. Past performances of Feel the Beat include a broad variety of genres such as popular cartoon themes, film music, Taiwanese folk songs, and classical pieces. As its name suggests, Feel the Beat strives to allow its audience to sense the rhythm and pulse of its percussion pieces, bringing the joy of music into daily life.

        This performance by Feel the Beat includes an array of genres such as jazz, blues, film classics and popular music, arranged in 12 pieces: 1. Technology  2. Hit Me with Your Best Shot  3.Good Vibrations  4. Virtuouso  5. Melodies for Drumset  6. Stubernic  7. Rite of Passage  8. BKA  9. Triple Threat  10. Drumsets Battle  11. Big Country  12. Have You Heard.
