       Director Ker-Chau Li, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Statistical Science, is going to the United States for academic affairs from March 27 to June 13, 2010. During his absence, Deputy Director Jing-Shiang Hwang serves as the acting director.

        Director Shaw Chen Liu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Research Center for Environmental Changes, is going to the China to attend an academic conference from March 31 to April 3, 2010. During his absence, Deputy Director George Tin-Fuk Wong serves as the acting director.
