Director Wen-Hsiung Li, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Biodiversity Research Center, will go to the United States for academic affairs from April 22 to May 12, 2012. During his absence, Deputy Director Jiunn-Tzong Wu will be the acting director.

Director Hsin-Huang Michael Shiao, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Sociology, will go to Japan for academic affairs from May 11-14, 2012. During his absence, Deputy Director Fu-chang Wang will be the acting director.
