Academician Tai-Ping Liu, Director and Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics, will attend an international conference in Shanghai and Beijing on July 22 through July 31, 2007. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Associate Research Fellow Hsuan-Pei Lee.

Academician D.T. Lee, Director and Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Information Science, will attend an international conference in Shanghai and Beijing on July 5 through July 13, 2007. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Associate Research Fellow Tyng-Ruey Chuang.

Academician Tuan-Hua David Ho, Director and Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Plant and Microbial Biology, will attend an international conference in the United States on July 6 through July 17, 2007. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Research Fellow Long Fang O. Chen.
