        Director Ming-Che Shih, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Agricultural Biotechnology Research Center, will go to the United States for academic affairs from July 17-25, 2012. During his absence, Deputy Director Shu-Mei Liang will be the acting director.

        Director Shu-min Huang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Ethnology, is going to China and Hong Kong for academic affairs from July 5-19, 2012. During his absence, Deputy Director Kuang-hui Yeh is the acting director.
