Dr. Arthur C. Tsai has been appointed Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of Statistical Science, effective June 30, 2008.

The secondment of Dr. Huang Ko-wu, Research Fellow of the Institute of Modern History, to serve as Professor of the Institute of History with Administrative Directorship at National Tsing Hua University has been approved for a three-year term, effective August 1, 2008.

The secondment of Dr. Yann-Huei Song, Research Fellow of the Institute of European and American Studies, to serve as Professor and Dean of International Affairs at National Chung Hsing University has been approved for a three-year term, effective August 1, 2008.
