Dr. Bor-Ming Jahn, Director and Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Earth Science, will travel to Thailand and Beijing on July 29 through August 12, 2007 to attend an international conference. During his absence the acting director of Institute will be Research Fellow Chang-Hwa Chen.

Dr. Ker-Chau Li, Director and Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Statistical Science, will attend an international conference in the United States on July 29 through August 7, 2007. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Research Fellow Jing-Shiang Hwang.

Dr. Shaw-Chen Liu, Director and Distinguished Research Fellow of the Research Center for Environmental Change, will attend an international conference in Thailand on July 30 through August 4, 2007. During his absence the acting director of the Center will be Distinguished Research Fellow George Tin-Fuk Wong. 

Dr. Meng-Cjao Yao, Director and Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Molecular Biology, will attend an international conference in the United States on July 20 through August 26, 2007. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Research Fellow Cheng-Ting Chien.

Dr. Shu-Min Huang, Director and Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Ethnology, will attend an international conference in Yunnan and Thailand on July 26 through August 11, 2007. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Research Fellow Ruey-Ling Chu.
