Dr. Din Ping Tsai, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Research Center for Applied Sciences, has been appointed Director of the Center for a three-year term, effective April 1, 2012.

Dr. Chao-Wen Wang has been promoted to Associate Research Fellow of the Institute of Plant and Microbial Biology, effective March 21, 2012.

Dr. Chih-Yen King has been promoted to Associate Research Fellow of the Institute of Molecular Biology, effective March 21, 2012.

Dr. Wen-chang Lin has been promoted to Research Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, effective March 21, 2012.

Dr. Benny K. K. Chan has been promoted to Associate Research Fellow of the Biodiversity Research Center, effective March 21, 2012.
