Dr. Tai-Ping Liu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics, has been reappointed Director of the Institute for a three-year term, effective April 3, 2009.

Dr. Maw-Kuen Wu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Physics, has been reappointed Director of the Institute for a three-year term, effective April 1, 2009.

Dr. Chi-Ching Liu has been appointed Adjunct Research Fellow of the Institute of Earth Sciences, effective March 1, 2009.

Dr. Yung-Feng Liao, Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of Cellular and Organismic Biology, has been promoted to Associate Research Fellow, effective March 27, 2009.
