Former Academia Sinica President Dr. Yuan-Tseh Lee Presented with Grand Officer of the National Order of Merit
 

　　Former Academia Sinica President Dr. Yuan-Tseh Lee was presented with the Grand Officer of the National Order of Merit by the French government for his contributions to scientific exchanges between France and Taiwan. The National Order of Merit was established by former French President Charles de Gaulle in 1963. The award ceremony was held on October 2, 2012 at the Bureau Français de Taipei.
