Director Yu-Tai Tao, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Chemistry, will go to Turkey to attend international conferences from August 3-15, 2013. During his absence, Deputy Director Der-Lii M. Tzou will be the acting director.

　　Director Shu-Min Huang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Ethnology, will go to the United Kingdom for academic affairs from August 4-12, 2013. During his absence, Deputy Director Kuang-Hui Yeh will be the acting director.

　　Director Ting-Kuo Lee, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Physics, will go to China and Japan for academic affairs from August 6-15, 2013 and August 19-21, 2013 respectively. During his absence, Deputy Director Yang Yuan Chen will be the acting director.
