Dr. Yia-Chung Chang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Research Center for Applied Sciences, will serve as Director of the Center, effective June 15, 2011. The term of appointment is until the new Director of the Center assumes office.

Dr. Kuo-Hsing Hsieh, Research Fellow of the Institute of Taiwan History, has been appointed Director of the Institute for a three-year term, effective September 1, 2011.

Dr. Chiu-Yu Tseng, Research Fellow of the Institute of Linguistics, has been appointed Director of the Institute for a three-year term, effective June 27, 2011.

Dr. Yuan-Hao Chang has been appointed Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of Information Science, effective August 1, 2011.

Dr. Ryuji Machida has been appointed Assistant Research Fellow of the Research Center for Biodiversity, effective June 1, 2011.
