Dr. Guo-Ching Jon has been appointed Associate Research Fellow of the Institute of Physics, effective December 1, 2008.

Dr. Shu-min Huang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Ethnology, has been reappointed Director of the Institute for a two-year term, effective January 1, 2009.

Dr. Tsai-Chun Chung, Research Fellow of the Institute of Chinese Literature and Philosophy, has been reappointed Director of the Institute for a three-year term, effective February 10, 2009.
