Director Ker-Chau Li, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Statistical Science, will go to USA for academic affairs from July 30 to August 19, 2009. During his absence, Deputy Director Jing-Shiang Hwang will be the acting director.

Director Paul T. P. Ho, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics (Preparatory Office), will go to USA for academic affairs from July 19 to August 12, 2009. During his absence, Distinguished Research Fellow Typhoon Lee and Research Fellow Ming-Jye Wang will be the acting directors.
