Dr. Fang-yi Chiou, Associate Research Fellow of the Preparatory Office of the Institute of Political Science, Awarded Prestigious Elinor Ostrom Prize in 2012
 

        Dr. Fang-yi Chiou, Associate Research Fellow of the Preparatory Office of the Institute of Political Science, was awarded the prestigious Elinor Ostrom Prize in 2012. The prize committee, chaired by Professor George Tsebelis of the University of Michigan, selected the best article published in the Journal of Theoretical Politics in 2011. Dr. Chiou has developed new models in the study of legislative behaviours and advanced informational theory in the field. The title of Dr. Chiu’s article is “The Role of Procedural Commitment in Informational Theories of Legislative Organization” (JTP 23(4): 532-558).
