The French-Taiwanese Cultural Foundation was established in 1996 under the aegis of the French Academy of Social and Moral Sciences with the purpose of “rewarding every year with two prizes of artistic or literary works which shed light on relations between Taiwan and Europe and/or which contribute to the enhancement of cultural exchange between Taiwan and Europe.”

Each prize amounts to 25,000 Euro-dollar. Any natural person or legal entity from member states of the European Union, Switzerland, Ukraine and Taiwan, meeting the above requirements, can apply for the prizes.

Candidates must have produced achieved or in-progress research works, cultural projects, reports, publications, artistic creations which directly related to Taiwan.

The deadline for making an application is on June 10, 2008. Please fill in the blank form (in French, Chinese, English or German) and enclosing documents of the accomplished works as well as letters of recommendation and send the relevant document to the Planning and Activities Division of the Secretariat Office before the deadline.
