American Economic Association elects no more than four economists of high distinction in the United States and Canada every year. Academician Gregory Chow is elected as Distinguished Fellow this year. Professor Chow is a member of the American Philosophical Society and Academia Sinica, as well as a Fellow of the American Statistical Association and the Econometric Society.
