Dr. Huei-Min Sun, Associate Research Fellow of the Institute of Modern History at Academia Sinica, has been selected as a 2015-2016 Harvard Yenching Visiting Scholar. The Visiting Scholars Program offers faculty the opportunity to conduct 10 months of research at Harvard University and provides a living stipend. Dr. Sun’s research focuses on the interactions between social transformation and legal reforms in Modern China. The research that she plans to pursue at Harvard is “A City of Tenants: Shanghai and the Formation of Chinese Rental Law.”
