Dr. Yu-Liang Yang, Assistant Research Fellow of the Agricultural Biotechnology Research Center, has been awarded the 2012 Li Foundation Heritage Prize for “Excellence in Creativity”. Each prize recipient receives $40,000 USD disbursed over a period of two years. Dr. Yang’s research on microbial imaging mass spectrometry and natural products chemistry has won international recognition. Dr. Yang has published six articles in acclaimed international journals such as Nat. Chem. Biol., Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A., J. Am. Chem. Soc., and Angew. Chem. Int. ed.
