Dr. Hsi-Yuan Chen has been promoted to Associate Research Fellow of the Institute of History and Philology. His term is effective dating from August 31, 2007.

Dr. Jaw-Ling Joanne Chang, Research Fellow of the Institute of European and American Studies, has been approved to extend her temporary transfer to the National Security Council as Deputy Secretary-General. Her term is effective dating from September 1, 2007 until May 19, 2008.

Dr. Hung-Ta Chen has been appointed as Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of Molecular Biology. His term is effective dating from September 10, 2007.

Dr. Kuan-Chung Huang, Research Fellow of the Institute of History and Philology, has been temporarily transferred to the National Central Library to serve as Curator from September 17, 2007 through September 16, 2008.

Dr. Ji-Kai Yu has been appointed as Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of Cellular and Organismic Biology. His term is effective dating from October 1, 2007.
