Director Tai-Ping Liu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics, will attend an international conference in China from December 18 to 21, 2008. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Deputy Director Hsuan-Pei Lee.

Director Shu-min Huang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Ethnology, will attend an international conference in China from December 23 to 28, 2008. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Deputy Director Ruey-Ling Chu.

Director Yu-cheng Lee, Research Fellow of the Institute of European and American Studies, will attend an international conference in China from December 23 to 28, 2008. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Deputy Director Te-Hsing Shan.

Director Hsueh-chi Hsu, Research Fellow of the Institute of Taiwan History, will attend an international conference in China from December 22 to 28, 2008. During her absence the acting director of  the Institute will be Associate Research Fellow Shu-Min Chung.
