　　Director Ting-Kuo Lee, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Physics, will go to Korea for academic affairs from October 28 to November 1, 2012. During his absence, Deputy Director Yang-Yuan Chen will be the acting director.

　　Director Wen-Lian Hsu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Information Science, will go to China for academic affairs from October 24-28, 2012. During his absence, Deputy Director Ming-Tat Ko will be the acting director.
