Director Shaw Chen Liu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Research Center for Environmental Changes, will go to China for academic affair from July 17 to 22, 2009. During his absence, Deputy Director George T. F. Wong will be the acting director.

Director Tao-Shih Hsieh, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Cellular and Organismic Biology, will go to USA for academic affair from July 6 to 31, 2009. During his absence, Deputy Director Pung-Pung Hwang will be the acting director.

Director Meng-Chao Yao, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Molecular Biology, will go to USA for academic affair from July 17 to August 25, 2009. During his absence, Deputy Director Chwan-Deng David Hsiao (on July 17 to August 9) and Deputy Director Chung Wang (on August 10 to 25) will be the acting directors.

Director Wen-Hsiung Li, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Biodiversity Research Center, will go to USA for academic affair from July 11 to 31, 2009. During his absence, Deputy Director Jiunn-Tzong Wu will be the acting director.
