Director Maw-Kuen Wu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Physics, will go to Poland to attend an international conference from October 24-31, 2011. During his absence, Deputy Directors Yang-Yuan Chen and Chi-Yee Cheung will be the acting directors.

Director Hsin-Huang Michael Shiao, Research Fellow of the Institute of Sociology, will go to Korea to attend an international conference from October 19-22, 2011. During his absence, Deputy Director Fu-chang Wang will be the acting director.
