Dr. Chiung-Yun Liu had been accepted for 2017-2018 Harvard-Yenching Institute Visiting Scholars Program
 
  Dr. Chiung-Yun Liu, Associate Research Fellow at the Institute of Chinese Literature and Philosophy, has been accepted for 2017-2018 Harvard-Yenching Institute Visiting Scholars program. Dr. Liu is an expert of Ming-Qing literature. She is particularly interested in exploring the intersection of the fantastic and the historical, where the act of writing continues to shape and reshape the contours of knowledge and the structures of feelings. She was accepted by Harvard-Yenching Institute for her project entitled "Layered Knowledge, Layered Sentiment: Writing and Cross-Cultural Experience in Early Modern China" and will visit there for ten months for research.
