　　Director Siao-chen Hu, Research Fellow of the Institute of Chinese Literature and Philosophy, will go to China for academic affairs from August 20-27, 2012. During her absence, Deputy Director Ta-hsing Chow will be the acting director.

　　Director Paul Ho, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics, will go to the United States for academic affairs from August 21 to September 5, 2012. During his absence, Deputy Director Shiang-Yu Wang will be the acting director.
