Director Shaw Chen Liu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Research Center for Environmental Changes, is going to China to attend academic conferences from January 11 to February 10, 2011. During his absence, Research Fellow Fuh Kwo Shiah is the acting director. Liu will go to Singapore to attend an international conference from February 16-19, 2011. During his absence, Deputy Director George Tin-Fuk Wong is the acting director.

        Director Wen-Hsiung Li, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Biodiversity Research Center, is going to the United States for academic affairs from January 10-23, 2011. During his absence, Deputy Director Jiunn-Tzong Wu is the acting director.
