Vice President Chao-Han Liu will attend an international conference in China on October 26 through October 28, 2007. During his absence his functions will be exercised by the Vice President Ts'ui-Jung Liu.
Dr. Tai-Ping Liu, Director and Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics, will attend international conferences in USA on October 20 through November 20, 2007. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Deputy Director Hsuan-Pei Lee.
Dr. Tuan-hua David Ho, Director and Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Plant and Microbial Biology, will attend an international conference in Japan on October 14 through October 29, 2007. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Research Fellow Long-Fang O. Chen.
Dr. Shu-Min Huang, Director and Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Ethnology, will attend an international conference in Beijing, China on November 1 through November 5, 2007. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Deputy Director Ruey-Ling Chu.
Dr. Hsuch-Chi Hsu, Director and Research Fellow of the Institute of Taiwan History, will attend an international conference in Japan on October 29 through November 6, 2007. During her absence the acting director of the Institute will be Deputy Director Su-Chuan Chan.
