Director You-Hua Chu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics, will go to the United States for academic affairs from December 21, 2014 to January 5, 2015. During her absence, Deputy Director Shiang-Yu Wang is the acting director.

Director Ting-Kuo Lee, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Physics, will go to the United States for academic affairs from December 26, 2014 to January 8, 2015. During his absence, Deputy Director Yang Yuan Chen will be the acting director.

Acting Director Shun-Jen Cheng, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics, will go to Australia for academic affairs from January 23 to February 2, 2015. During his absence, Deputy Director Ching Hung Lam will be the acting director.
