Director Wen-Hsiung Li, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Biodiversity Research Center, goes to Dominican Republic and the United States for academic affairs from June 7-23, 2014. During his absence, Deputy Director Jiunn-Tzong Wu(June 7-19) and Dr. Kwang-Tsao Shao(June 20-23) are the acting directors.

         Director Shu-Min Huang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Ethnology, will go to China for academic affairs from June 17-28, 2014. During his absence, Deputy Director Hsun Chang will be the acting director.

         Director Mei-Yin Chou, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences, will attend an International conference in Korea from June 18-21, 2014. During her absence, Deputy Director Wen-Bih Tzeng will be the acting director.

         Director Hsin-Huang Michael Hsiao, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Sociology, will attend an international conference in the United States from June 18–23, 2014. During his absence, Deputy Director Fu-chang Wang will be the acting director.

         Director Ting-Kuo Lee, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Physics, will attend an international conference in Singapore from June 22–27, 2014. During his absence, Deputy Director Yang Yuan Chen will be the acting director.
