  1996年輕研究人員著作獎得獎人名單

      本院1996年輕研究人員著作獎，業經該著作獎審查委員會第二次
    會議，決議通過得獎人共九人。公布名單、得獎著作及評審簡評如

      評審簡評：余博士在分生所的研究工作，不僅成果優異亦極具創
    造性。她發現水稻細胞在suspension   cultures中其澱粉分解酵素
    -amylase gene之表現受到醣類代謝的調控，此一情況和種子發芽時
    受到荷爾蒙GA的管制相為呼應，對於-amylase   gene的轉錄率及其
    mRNA的穩定性提供極有深度的解釋與理論基礎，在國際間廣受植物
    分子生物學界的重視。除此之外，她在應用方面亦有良好的表現，
    尤其在基因轉移的工作，突破以Agrobacterium系統進行單子葉植物
    基因轉移的瓶頸，這是農學界從事作物改良工作的一項重要貢獻。

	persistency-associated gene 1 of Hz-1 baculovirus as a tool
	for generating large quantity of proteins

      評審簡評：趙裕展博士對於昆蟲桿狀病毒Hz-1 baculovirus 感染
    昆蟲細胞後，造成Productive或Persistent  infection的分子層面
    有獨到的發現。在Persistent infection情況下，只會合成一個RNA
    transcript(PAT-1)，且無其蛋白產物，這和Productive infection
    時病毒能轉錄101號transcripts有明顯的不同。此一發現對於病毒感
    染的機制，提供了極有意義的研究方向。另外一項重要的發現是PAT-1
    gene具有很強的Promoter  activity,比起目前所知的其他應用於昆
    蟲細胞的Promoter更強，此一發現在未來利用於生物技術上的價值
    將廣受重視。

      著作名稱：

      評審簡評：嚴博士的研究工作對於瞭解細胞分化生長和抑制細胞
    凋亡的分子機制有重要的貢獻。他在研究兩個Human
    erythroleukemic cell lines對於Interleukin 5的反應時，首度證
    實細胞間素（如Interleukin 5）可以在某些情況下刺激細胞分裂生
    長同時抑制細胞凋亡，此一工作不僅具有原創性，並且建立了一個
    細胞模式以加速探討細胞凋亡之調控機制。

      得獎人：陳恭平（社科所）

      著作名稱：

      評審簡評：論理平易，推理嚴謹。其最重要之貢獻，為對現有動
    態賽局理論，提出兩個新的均衡觀念：一為拓展renegotiation
    proof的均衡觀念，一為修正subgame  perfect的均衡觀念。代表作
    兩篇分別在國際上著名之經濟雜誌發表，殊屬難得。被譽為是台灣
    理論經濟方面的一顆金星。

      得獎人：孫天心（史語所）

      著作名稱：

      評審簡評：對歷史比較語言學及音韻學造詣很深。觀察銳敏，分
    析精闢，方法嚴謹。結合理論與實際語料，對所討論的藏語問題，
    都能提出獨到之見解。

      得獎人：張壽安（近史所）

      著作名稱：

      以禮代理───淩廷堪與清中葉儒學思想之轉變，中央研究院近
    代史研究所專刊(72)，1994

      評審簡評：代表作係從繁雜之原始資料疏理出言之成理，持之有
    故的解釋途徑。充分運用考證及經學方法，彰顯禮學研究的思想性
    。把問題擺在歷史脈絡中，取得承先啟後的效果。其主要的貢獻：
    恢復了清中葉儒學思想轉變的一條線索。
