As an anthropological archaeologist trained in both Taiwanese and Andean archaeology, her long-term research interest is to reveal ancient lifestyles and the dynamic processes of the emergence of complex societies. Dr. Chen\u2019s dissertation depicts a unique life history and developmental trajectory of a fishing community in Peru.
