This award provides life membership and society publications of American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB) to distinguished plant biologists from outside the United States.<\/p>\n<p>The awardee is nominated by ASPB and the award conferred by election on the annual ballot from the members of the Society worldwide. Dr. Wu was recognized internationally for her pioneer work on Light-mediated gene expression regulation in Arabidopsis, particularly the mechanistic studies of translation control and the establishment of circadian clock.<\/p>\n<p>ASPB is one of the most influential professional societies in plant biology and about 40% of its members reside outside United States. It publishes top journals in the field, <em>The Plant Cell<\/em>, <em>Plant Physiology<\/em> and <em>Plant Direct<\/em>.
