Established in 2012, this award\u2019s aspiration is to encourage scholars in the humanities and social sciences to conduct in-depth research and make important contributions to the fields. Each year, Academia Sinica recognizes a wide range of contributions to the discipline. Honoring the best, Academia Sinica presents awards for outstanding scholarship, ground-breaking insights, inspiration, and public understanding of the humanities and social science discipline. It is our great pleasure to present the 2020 award winners, who explore a vast range of ideas, challenge the preexisting frameworks, encourage readers to expand their thinking and learn more from the world around us.<\/p>\n<p>During the ceremony, the four award winners presented their winning monographs.
